Go into all the world. <Lk 14:23; Ps 78:1-4, 8, 35, 40, 67-72; Mk 16:15>

1. Go into all the world to walk with God.

1) The radical aspect of the gospel and eternal life may cripple us initially.

2) However, we must be spiritually wise enough to use all the world to comprehend the gospel.

读:《Lk 14:23

23 And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.

2. Learning from God’s faithfulness to His rebellious people <Ps 78>.

Read < Ps 78:1-4,8,35,40,67-72>

1 My people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. 2 I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old— 3 things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us. 4 We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. 8 They would not be like their ancestors— a stubborn and rebellious generation, whose hearts were not loyal to God, whose spirits were not faithful to him. 35 They remembered that God was their Rock, that God Most High was their Redeemer. 40 How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness and grieved him in the wasteland! 67 Then he rejected the tents of Joseph, he did not choose the tribe of Ephraim; 68 but he chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which he loved. 69 He built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth that he established forever. 70 He chose David his servant and took him from the sheep pens; 71 from tending the sheep he brought him to be the shepherd of his people Jacob, of Israel his inheritance. 72 And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them.

1) Listen carefully to truths handed down to us, especially those that you do not understand now.

2) Calling or vocation is all about shepherding, i.e. serving people, not yourself.

3) Rebellion vs “Integrity of heart”.

4) Do not only equip in your mind, but also learn “skillful hands”.

3. The elect is purposeful on rescuing the perishing.

Read <Mk 16:15>

15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.

Read <Lk 14:23>

23 And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.

1) The promise of victory.

2) God will grant greater gifts to the humble and teachable.

3) By the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, we “compel people to come in to God's house”.
