Receive Wisdom to Face Life’s Perplexities. <Ecc 7:15-29>

Read: <Ecc 6:12, 7:1-6>

1. Human wisdom cannot explain all of life’s phenomena and problems.

Read: <Ecc 7:15>

* “The theory of karma” cannot provide mankind with a complete answer.

* “Moralism” cannot save us.

* Everything is meaningless under the sun.

* Only the gospel can give us answer.

Read: <Ecc 7:16-18>

2. Do not be overrighteous, overwise, and overwicked?

1) Do not be self-righteous, and do not do evil in folly.

2) But must fear God.

2. There is no one on earth who is righteous and wise.

2. Conclusion: God created mankind upright, but they have gone in search of many schemes.

Read: <Ecc 7:29>

* Cannot blame God for the many problems in the world, because mankind has chosen not to obey God, but seek out many schemes.

* At the broad level, the world’s problems are a result of human sin.

* How about our personal problems? Is it possible that they are related to our own “schemes”? It may not be so, but at least we should humbly examine ourselves.
