Weak Believers Yet Received the Great Commission.

<Mt 28:16-20; Lk 24:45-49; 1 Pe 3:15; 2:12>

1. We must see the necessity and value of the Great Commission.

* Great Commission: Evangelism, disciple-making.

1) God instructs all believers to participate in the Great Commission.

2) Evangelism and disciple-making will also bless ourselves.

* If not living for Great Commission, will be absorbed into the world’s culture.

* To carry out Great Commission, have to know Bible more, restore authentic faith, pursue holiness, resolve own doubts, have real breakthroughs => more blessed and sanctified

* Great Commission also makes us less selfish => become a better person, more pleasing to God

3) Restore “a sense of ownership toward heavenly kingdom”.

2. Do not be afraid to preach the gospel.

1) Whether a person can be saved depends on God’s power, not ours.

2) Even when Jesus preached the gospel Himself, not everyone believed too.

3) If we indeed evangelise, we are victorious whatever the case; but if we do not evangelise, we have already failed.

* The success of evangelism lies not in the outcome, but in our obedience.

3. How should we evangelise?

1) Direct way of preaching the gospel.

* Must grasp the correct gospel contents.

2) Indirect way of sharing the gospel.

* Forward gospel messages, gospel tracts, invite people to church.

* Be prepared to share gospel contents and personal testimony anytime. <1 Pe 3:15>

* Good living testimony. <1 Pe 2:12>

3) Continue to evangelise even if face rejection.
