The answer salvation gives to mental struggles. <1Sa 18:7-9, 28-29; 1Jn 4:7-10; Heb 12:2-3; Mk 5:18-20>

1. Man can lose his mind.

1) Is there always a way to get rid of the discomforts and struggles of this life?

2) If I am losing out, how can I mourn and be comforted?《Mt 5:4》

3) We have to be reminded and do an intentional revisiting of the gospel always.

2. Salvation is infinitely more valuable than good feelings.

1) There are counter-intuitive truths to hear and practice.

(1) Sin and our flaws.

(2) Where is your treasure?

(3) Are there false gods in your heart?

2) Rather than accommodating our struggles, we are to look to Jesus.

3. The power to transform belongs to God alone.

1) Renewal of mind is not conformation but transformation.

2) We also have to keep looking to the Lord to keep us, for our mind is not infallible.

3) Keep restoring a sound mind till you can relate to anyone about salvation.
