God Never Stops Working <Jn 5:17; Ps 121:1-4; Jn 13:7; Isa 31:1; Jn 14:12-13; 2 Ti 2:9; Jos 4:23-24; Php 4:13>

1. God is working 24 hours, never resting.

* Read <Jn 5:17; Ps 121:1-4>

* To protect us, so that we will not slip.

* He doesn’t wait for us to seek His help, but He takes the initiative to work.

* He is all-powerful, so His work is surely effective, and no one can stop Him.

2. But man always feels like God is not working.

* Unbelief: Because believe in circumstances more than God.

* Thought that we are doing the work ourselves. However, must remember <Ps 127:1>.

* Our definition of “God working” is different from God’s.

3. If God never stops working, how does this impact us?

1)Even if we cannot clearly see or understand God’s work, must still trust Him and confirm His work.

* <Jn 13:7> Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

* Develop our train of thoughts based on the truth (not on situation, human thinking or feeling)

* We must see that God is working, then we can be strengthened.

* Faith Û Confirm

* When we face problems, it does not mean that God is not working. Sometimes, it is precisely because God is working so we encounter trials.

* After confirming that God is truly working, do not seek help elsewhere, but fully rely on God. Read <Isa 31:1>.

2)If God is always working, after seeing Him work, we too must work.

* Read <Jn 14:12-13>.

* God’s gospel cannot be stopped, so we must keep preaching it.

* Read <2 Ti 2:9>.

* Read <Jos 4:23-24>.

* God’s purpose is not just to solve our problems, but to save human souls.

* Phillip Brooks: “Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers equal to your tasks.”

* I can do all this through him who gives me strength. <Php 4:13>

* God works through His church, so we should stay connected to the church.

3)Receive comfort but also warning from God’s work.
