Is “Self-Care” Biblical Teaching? <Lk 6:30-36; Ac 20:31-35>

1. People of the world are not inclined to goodness, but only love themselves

1）1）In fact, many of man’s good deeds originate from the heart of gratifying oneself

2）Lord Jesus said, “Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful”

3）Not self-care but imitate the gracious Lord

2. But why is self-care so appealing to the modern church?

1）1）Believers start to believe in positive energy more than in God

2）Believers start to value feelings above the truth

3）There are more and more female leaders

3.  Not self-care, but receiving true healing from putting God’s word into practice

1）We must obey the calling God has given us

2）See the Lord’s help in all kinds of hardships and challenges

3）Gain a heart of wisdom and understanding from brethren living

4）How to deal with self-pity and self-harm?
