Number Our Days, Gain a Heart of Wisdom <Ps 90:1-17>

1. Relationship between God and man

1）Know God

<Ps 90:1>: God is the dwelling place of His people throughout all generations

<Ps 90:2>: He is God from everlasting to everlasting

<Ps 90:3>: God returns man to dust

2）What God sees is different from man

2.  God’s wrath and judgment

1）All our days are spent under God’s wrath

2）The Israelites fell in the wilderness

3）Their years of living were like a sigh

3.  Repent and reconcile with God

1）Petition to God

<Ps 90:13> Ask God to relent

<Ps 90:14> Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days

<Ps 90:15> Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble

2）Desires we have of God

<Ps 90:16> May your deeds be shown to your servants, your splendor to their children

<Ps 90:17> May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us

<Ps 90:17> May you establish the work of our hands for us

4. Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom
