Learn to Discern What is Best According to the Roles the Lord has Given Us <Col 3:18-4:1, 5-6>

1.  First acknowledge the roles God has given us and the responsibilities within

1）Man not just has preferences, but also responsibilities

2）God cares about whether we are faithful in our roles among men

3）Therefore, discerning what is best is not apart from the roles God has given us, and the responsibilities they entail

2.  How can we discern what is best in complicated situations in interpersonal relationships?

1）Not every case is a special circumstance

2）Do not totally reject someone’s requests, just because he has shortcomings

3）Under special circumstances, must understand the way out provided by the Holy Spirit

3.  Discern what is best, win over non-believers

1）What matters most to non-believers is our deeds

2）Must especially pay attention to our words
