Pastor’s Message

The Year 2008 is a significant year for us, as the Lord moves us to the year of “Inflaming the Spirit’s Fire”. Since Nov 2002 when the church was set up, God has always moved the church through each theme HE had given us. The reality is: God’s work never ceases, even amidst trials and difficulties. And His purpose is always to magnify His glory and the testimony of His church through both victorious and trying moments. In Truth, Jesus Christ has shown us the greatest example in living out the purpose and perfect will of God in flesh. Therefore, only through being reminded of everything the Lord has revealed to us through Christ, the Holy Spirit will work in us and compel us to do His work. We give thanks for it is always God who drives His work, not men’s zealousness and ability. Only through seeing how HE works, would we be able to enjoy the inflaming of the Holy Spirit within us, where true works of evangelism naturally take place.

牧者讯息

新的一年里，信实的上帝总是带来新的恩典与突破。主所爱，所亲自拣选与呼召的弟兄姐妹们，在各样的过程里，要记得主的工作是持续性的，不是中断性的。真正的福音工作是建立在主给圣民不变的应许上，也从不停止的联续下去。这是上帝一直以来重生，成圣，使用祂的教会的方法。2008年是‘点燃灵火’之年。主耶稣基督在十字架上的成就，带来今日我们个人身上，家庭，地区，与这时代都蒙受了‘以马内利’的祝福。只有当一个人恢复了基督的应许，与祂凡事上的美意，他将会向这时代作见证，传讲‘上帝现在与我们同在’的证据。这是主的教会与人人都需要的答案。期待吧，弟兄姐妹！上帝今年必把真正圣灵充满的秘诀向我们显明！

Pastor Vincent Choo and Family (Wife, Qiufen and 3 Kids, Mary, David, Caleb)

Having served and grown up together with many of the deacons, Pastor Vincent is one servant whom the Lord raises up, for the glory of His Church. Humbly anointed as a church deacon also, God put in him a shepherd’s heart and called him into full-time pastoral work, a year after the Life Church and Missions evolved. With the Holy Bible as the foundation, Pastor Vincent preaches a covenanted message, through which the true and living Emmanuel God could be objectively experienced by every believer. He downplays mystical, legalistic and humanistic beliefs, and proves that the evidences of the Emmanuel God can be practically tested and approved by anyone who holds on to the covenanted word of God. The Life Church and Missions is a visionary church which the Lord builds and sanctifies using His servant, Pastor Vincent and the collective experiences / conditions / hardships / tribulations / testimonies of every brethren in it. Through that, God is seen raising His church to be a witness to this Era. Pastor Vincent is blissfully married to Sister Qiufen, and has 3 lovable kids, Mary, David and Caleb. Sister Qiufen currently serves as a Sunday School Teacher.

朱志山传道自小就与以下执事们一起在教会成长事奉上帝。上帝在当中选召并兴起这位仆人来服侍与荣耀祂的教会。起初受按立为教会执事的志山传道在教会成立一年后，上帝就赐他牧者的心肠并呼召他成为教会的全职传道人。志山传道所传讲的基督以马内利信息都是以圣经为根基，并让每位信徒能客观的经历那又真又活的上帝。他轻视神秘主义、律法主义以及人本主义的信仰，且从上帝客观的真理连接与自己主观的经历，强而有力的证明凡抓住应许（神的约）的信徒绝对能够实际的确认以及察验到以马内利的上帝（神凡事上的美意）。通过志山传道与教会主流一同成长当中的经历、背景，条件、苦难以及见证，上帝建立、洁净、使用了这被异象牵引着的生命教会。这教会的兴起就是为了要在这黑暗的时代作上帝的见证。志山传道与太太，秋芬姐妹育有三位可爱的子女：乐宣、乐信以及乐祈。秋芬师母也是教会的主日学老师。

Deacon Wengang and Wife, Liwen

Deacon Wengang is the Chief Deacon among the deacons. By God’s unceasing grace, he remains faithful in all His house, and is the main architect behind the setting up of Life Church and Missions. He fully oversees the church administration and faithfully transcribes the Bible Overview Message for every Discipleship Training session. The transcript is sharply and effectively transcribed for the benefit of all who wishes to be rooted in the word of God, and equipped as Christ disciples. He also shepherds 2 small groups every week. His wife Liwen, whom God has given a beautiful voice, leads the church choir and teaches in the Sunday School.

朱玟钢执事乃教会的首席执事。靠着上帝丰盛的恩典，玟钢执事不但是神忠心的好管家，也是生命教会成立的灵魂人物之一。他负责教会的行政事务以及预备门徒培训信息的抄本。他的抄本精准并有效的装备了许多愿意扎根在神话语的基督门徒。他每个星期也负责牧养两个小组。上帝赐予他的妻子丽雯姐妹一把漂亮的嗓音，也托付她带领教会诗班以及教会主日学老师的职份。

Deacon Chee Meng and Fiancée, Adrienne (Wedding on 8 Dec 08)

Deacon Chee Meng transcribes the Sunday Service Message every week, and many have benefitted from it. In 2005, God moved him to start the website ministry of the church, which has since become a main instrument in delivering God’s word to many people outside the church, edifying many. He also shepherds a small group every week. His fiancée, Adrienne, whom God has given strong language, serves alongside him in the Sunday Message Transcript, and also involves in many written translation work of the church. She is also a Sunday School Teacher.

李志明执事为每个主日信息所预备的抄本使许多弟兄姐妹们受惠。在2005年，上帝感动他设立教会的网站事工。通过这管道，神的话才能广泛传达到教会以外的信徒，从而造就他们。他的未婚妻，佩云姐妹拥有很强的语言能力，并协助他在教会信息抄本的事工上。她也参与教会许多的翻译事工并且担任主日学老师。

Deacon Patrick and Wife, Yuying

Deacon Patrick has every characteristic to be the church’s Sunday School Principal, and he is. As God has put in him a love for children ever since young, he remains the only person in church who has the liking of every child. Therefore, the children ministry remains his burden and also direction in equipping, and he shepherds children in his small group every week. His wife, Yuying who too loves kids, serves alongside him in Sunday School as a teacher. Both of them make a hospitable couple, serving as ushers in the church ever since it was set up.

郑文伟执事自小就拥有了一颗爱小孩的心，所以他担任主日学校长一职简直是当之不愧。他也是惟一一位能取悦每位孩子心的孩子王。所以儿童事工自然而然就成为他的负担。他每个星期也牧养儿童小组。他的太太，玉英姐妹也同样的喜爱小孩，所以与他一起参与主日学的事工，担任主日学老师一职。他们俩是一对亲切友善的夫妇，所以自教会成立以来就负责招待事工。

Deacon Kelvin and Family (Wife, Qiuyin and Daughter, Rebekah)

Deacon Kelvin is the church treasurer since the church began. Despite his limited knowledge in finance, God has put him as the steward of His church money. True to be, his prayer has always led the church through difficult financial moments, and breakthrough in stalemate. He is also currently leading a small group every week. Together with him, his wife, Qiuyin also serves in the write-up and printing of the church’s weekly bulletin. God has also graciously given them a beautiful girl, Rebekah.

林国荣执事自教会成立以来就担任财政一职。虽然他对财经的知识有限，上帝却仍然使用他成为教会财务的好管家。借着他的祷告，教会虽曾面临过许多经济困境，但却从中得着了突破与美好的见证。他每星期也牧养一小组。他的太太，秋茵姐妹与他一同担任教会周刊的服事。上帝也赐予他们一位漂亮的女儿若牵小妹妹。

Deacon Augustine

Deacon Augustine takes charge of the entire weekly message recording and the sound system of the church. With each Sunday Service message preached, he duplicates them into audio CD to be distributed. Therefore, message distribution became a norm ever since God convicted him to serve effectively in this area. He also shepherds a small group every week.

朱文杰执事不但只负责教会音响事工，也担当录制信息的重任。他在每一场聚会后立即将信息录制成光碟以供弟兄姐妹索取。神感动他在这方面忠心的事奉促使信息能有效的在教会流传。他每星期也牧养一小组。

Deacon Jianwei

Deacon Jianwei takes charge of the general affairs in the church. The church premise is kept clean and tidy under his administration. He also faithfully caters lunch for everyone after weekly Service. By and large, he is also the vice-principal of the Sunday School, who enforces a bit of orderly at times if need be… :) In every aspect, God has used him as a faithful worker.

伍健伟执事乃负责教会的总务事工。在他的督促之下，会场总是保持整洁的舒适环境。他也负责主日膳食并且担任主日学副校长一职。他同时也是训导主任并在有必要的时候维持主日学秩序。神也在各方面使用这位忠心的仆人。

Sister Huijun

Sister Huijun is one sister in the church whom God has graciously anointed. Being youthful and relevant, she is one whom God has currently used to minister to the youths in the church. Many who came under her care and counseling found answers and comfort in the Lord. She currently shepherds 2 small groups every week, consisting youths of different age groups. Being strong in language, she also serves in the church translation work.

林慧君姐妹可是上帝大大恩膏的一位姐妹。上帝使用这位活泼贴切的姐妹来牧养教会的青年人。许多弟兄姐妹在她悉心的关怀与辅导下都得着了在主里的绝对答案以及安慰。目前她每星期牧养两个不同年龄层的小组。拥有很强语言能力的她也参与教会的翻译事工。

Sister Suyun

Sister Suyun is the unanimous pianist in the church. God, having given her the talent and the educational opportunity, affirms her commitment in the music ministry of the church. She serves as the main musician in every meeting, and contributes effectively to the perfecting of the church choir, for the glory of God. She is one musician who sees God perfecting her life as she perfects her music.

朱素云姐妹是教会所公认的司琴。上帝不但赐予她音乐上的恩赐，也给与她深造音乐的机会。这更奠定了她在音乐事工上的事奉。她在每一场聚会当中以琴声事奉上帝，也成为教会的主要司琴。她在音乐上的恩赐也有效的提升了教会诗班的素质来荣耀上帝。当她在追求完美音乐的同时，神也在陶造她完美的生命。
