Welcome
to the website for Christ Life Church of Penang. This church was set up in December 2009, with the intent to bring the Immanuel Message of Christ Jesus to the people in Penang and all around the world.
The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. This wisdom is not the commonly known human intelligence, discretion or analytical skills, etc. It embodies a godly behaviour and a willingness to be taught by the Holy Spirit in all things, so as to gradually attain a wise spirit. For man to acquire such wisdom, he must die and resurrect once in Christ. He must rebuild his knowledge and wisdom on the foundation of God’s word (Christ’s gospel). Actually, the areas in which we always cannot attain wisdom are the areas we cannot put our old selves to death. Also, we must understand that wisdom will definitely be linked to a person’s deeds. The deeds emphasized by Proverbs spring from the fear of God. When we read the Proverbs, we must ponder: Believers are justified through faith, so are their deeds important? How do we comprehensively view a person’s good deeds and receive wisdom? Firstly, we must understand, a person’s good deeds do not make God any more or less pleased with him. Salvation is by grace, through faith. This faith is also wholly granted by God. God is pleased with the 8 types of blessed people in Matthew 5, not those with good conduct. On another level, we must also understand that good moral character (good moral conduct), is also given by God. When such a person believes in God, and truly understands that he has received grace though he is the sinner of sinners, his path of sanctification and healing will be easier. On the other hand, after a person with weak nature and morals believes in God, he will find that to be sanctified, he will need to work on his weak nature (bad habits) that has brought about his life struggles. But when he understands Christ’s love and promise, and is willing to be healed in these things, he will become a great and powerful witness. In summary, God will not lessen the blessings to someone because of his weak nature. However, we must indeed continue to be healed in Christ. Today, we will continue to discuss how the diligent labour of believers in the Lord will bear good fruits and gain rich harvest.

God created eternity and the whole history of mankind, and then He is with us today. In our short time, God reserves the eternal crown for us so that we can receive it bit by bit each day. Therefore, when we are won over by Jesus Christ and make covenant with God, the times ahead are the most precious time. No matter how little we see ourselves to be, how insignificant the things we do, how ordinary is our time on earth, God is already with us everyday, and through the days of our lifetime, He will fulfill His greatest plans. Therefore, when we hold on to the promise and be faithful to what the Lord has entrusted to us today, the most glorious things would be accomplished through our lives. But often, man’s spiritual problems cause him to be (1) not satisfied, (2) not assured, (3) not able to anticipate. In these spiritual problems, man keeps seeking novel experiences, but cannot see the Lord who is already with him; man wants to do great things, but he fails to see the most important thing; man is always envious of the famous and successful, but often overlooks the people around him who bless him, man always want to be set free from his problems, but he does not see how the problems work for the greater good to bless him. In the end, man is unable to be faithful to the present day! Actually, at the moment a person truly hears and believes in God’s promise, his life is already designed by God. His encounters, experiences, things and people he comes across are arranged by God. Even in the paths he takes when he is weak and ignorant, God is protecting and guiding him. Therefore, faith living is: After a person resolved, he seriously examines how the Lord who is with him, is leading him now, and follow faithfully, that is the most beautiful life. In his steps to follow God, God will surely prepare great and unsearchable things ahead, so that he can see God in every step and be at ease. Joseph and Daniel are not people without problems. On the contrary, their lives had been in many ironies, struggles, hardships and slowness. That is the cross that the Lord prepared for them, but also the path to absolute victory. Their lives tell us one truth. The Lord who made a covenant with them never left them. Only when they saw the God of today and followed Him, the Lord Himself would faithfully prove that His promise is without error, and He would bless all peoples through them. Today, the covenant that God made with us in Christ is also as such. Only when we believe and follow this promise, can we definitely enjoy the fulfillment of today and the great fulfilment in the future.
