<Luke 11:23> spoke about “whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” This means that in the spiritual realm, there is a force that is opposing God. This force of darkness does not just oppose God, it also attacks the children of God daily. Similarly, in this world, there are two kinds of people. They are those who belong to God and those who do not belong to God. Many people live to gratify their flesh. To pursue fame, wealth, relationship, status, material things, they can work day and night without rest. Some may even resort to underhand methods to get ahead. Ultimately, if they do not know the Lord who gives life, even if they can gain the whole world, they will end up paying for it with their lives. These people usually think that “more is better”. They did not realise that underlying this thinking is greed. It is an insinuation, wrong belief and bondages from the evil spirit. What is even more heartbreaking is the fact that it is not only the non-believers who entering into such a state, many believers are also becoming the people of the world. They do not know how to be satisfied by God’s provison or just live by God’s grace. In other words, those who are living in the physical world does not understand and are not senstive to matters in the spiritual realm. Those who know the truth, and know the spiritual realm, will know that whatever happens there will directly impact everyone of us.

Give thanks to God. He elected us. He has also given us the authority, enabled us to become His children. There is no greater blessing than the blessing of being a child of God. Having said that, in reality, how many children of God can live out a powerful life without regrets? When we (saints) encounter problems, what is our first reaction? Have we realised that in every situation, in every encounter, God has a plan for us to uncover. Actually, for saints, we live to battle. The world we live in is an invisible boxing ring.  In the ring, if a boxer does not make his move, does not retaliate, he will be pounded mercilessly by his opponent.
