一般人可能没有通过神的话与他们的良心思想是否自己的喜好是否蒙神喜悦。我们不断受圣灵引导时，我们可以在几方面鉴察我们的兴趣与喜好：1）我们的兴趣与喜好是否能够叫我们更加崇高我们心中的主，赞叹祂的美德，还是叫我们更加的疏远神，对祂感到更加冷淡，甚至是更爱世界；2）我们的兴趣与喜好是否能叫我们身心灵重新得力，能更有力量行处神的旨意，还是叫我们的力量与集中力消耗，无法做正经事；3）这样的喜好与兴趣是否太过耗尽我们的经济与时间，以至我们无法将钱财与时间用在更有意义方面的事；4）我们的兴趣与喜好能否让我们融入他人或是更好的能接触他人。倘若能，那兴趣就成为了一个能与人建立关系的很好桥梁，且是能间接对福音有益处的。
Generally, people do not meditate on whether their interests and liking through the Word of God and their conscience. When we are guided by the Holy Spirit continuously, we need to examine our interest and liking in certain areas: 1) Can our interest and liking make us exalt the Lord of our hearts more and more, and be in awe of His virtue; or does it cause us to be more distant from God, and turn cold towards Him but loving the world more; 2) Do the interests and liking enable us to regain strength in our hearts and minds, so that we are empowered to do the will of God, or it exhausts our strength and focus, disabling us to do the needful things; 3) Do the interests and hobbies waste our finance and time, such that we are unable to put money and time on more meaningful things; 4) Do our interest and hobbies enable us to include others, or include others better. If yes, that interest is a good bridge in building relationships, and is directly beneficial to the gospel.
