Before driving out demons, the work of demons must first surface. Today in the Christian world, many people drive out demons carelessly. Upon seeing people with worries or problems in their living, they keep driving out demons from them in the name of Jesus. Actually, before a person hears the Word of truth, you simply do not know where the demon is. If we do not gather to jointly express the speech, conduct and living that come from the spirit of truth (the expression of love and holiness), the spirit of falsehood and unclean spirits in people will not manifest themselves. Therefore, when saints gather, then we can see the work of the evil spirits surface obviously, and thus we can use the Lord’s authority to drive out the work of unclean spirits from many people. After we receive this experience of driving out demons in the midst of gathering, then we can have authority to drive out demons from people in our living fields (often, it is to drive out the thoughts in people’s hearts that are tormenting them).
