21:1
|
大卫年间有饥荒，一连三年，大卫就求问耶和华。耶和华说：「这饥荒是因扫罗和他流人血之家杀死基遍人。」
|
|
|
And there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David sought the face of Jehovah. And Jehovah said, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he put to death the Gibeonites.
|
|
21:2
|
原来这基遍人不是以色列人，乃是亚摩利人中所剩的；以色列人曾向他们起誓，不杀灭他们，扫罗却为以色列人和犹大人发热心，想要杀灭他们。大卫王召了他们来，
|
|
|
And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal for the children of Israel and Judah);
|
|
21:3
|
问他们说：「我当为你们怎样行呢？可用什么赎这罪，使你们为耶和华的产业祝福呢？」
|
|
|
and David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of Jehovah?
|
|
21:4
|
基遍人回答说：「我们和扫罗与他家的事并不关乎金银，也不要因我们的缘故杀一个以色列人。」大卫说：「你们怎样说，我就为你们怎样行。」
|
|
|
And the Gibeonites said unto him, It is no matter of silver or gold between us and Saul, or his house; neither is it for us to put any man to death in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you.
|
|
21:5
|
他们对王说：「那从前谋害我们、要灭我们、使我们不得再住以色列境内的人，
|
|
|
And they said unto the king, The man that consumed us, and that devised against us, [that] we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the borders of Israel,
|
|
21:6
|
现在愿将他的子孙七人交给我们，我们好在耶和华面前，将他们悬挂在耶和华拣选扫罗的基比亚。」王说：「我必交给你们。」
|
|
|
let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto Jehovah in Gibeah of Saul, the chosen of Jehovah. And the king said, I will give them.
|
|
21:7
|
王因为曾与扫罗的儿子约拿单指着耶和华起誓结盟，就爱惜扫罗的孙子、约拿单的儿子米非波设，不交出来，
|
|
|
But the king spared Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of Jehovah`s oath that was between them, between David and Jonathan the son of Saul.
|
|
21:8
|
却把爱雅的女儿利斯巴给扫罗所生的两个儿子亚摩尼、米非波设，和扫罗女儿米甲的姊姊给米何拉人巴西莱儿子亚得列所生的五个儿子
|
|
|
But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she bare to Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite:
|
|
21:9
|
交在基遍人的手里。基遍人就把他们，在耶和华面前，悬挂在山上，这七人就一同死亡。被杀的时候正是收割的日子，就是动手割大麦的时候。
|
|
|
And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the mountain before Jehovah, and they fell [all] seven together. And they were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, at the beginning of barley harvest.
|
|
21:10
|
爱雅的女儿利斯巴用麻布在盘石上搭棚，从动手收割的时候直到天降雨在尸身上的时候，日间不容空中的雀鸟落在尸身上，夜间不让田野的走兽前来糟践。
|
|
|
And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth, and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water was poured upon them from heaven; and she suffered neither the birds of the heavens to rest on them by day, nor the beasts of the field by night.
|
|
21:11
|
有人将扫罗的妃嫔爱雅女儿利斯巴所行的这事告诉大卫。
|
|
|
And it was told David what Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, the concubine of Saul, had done.
|
|
21:12
|
大卫就去，从基列雅比人那里将扫罗和他儿子约拿单的骸骨搬了来（是因非利士人从前在基利波杀扫罗，将尸身悬挂在伯珊的街市上，基列雅比人把尸身偷了去。）
|
|
|
And David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabesh-gilead, who had stolen them from the street of Beth-shan, where the Philistines had hanged them, in the day that the Philistines slew Saul in Gilboa;
|
|
21:13
|
大卫将扫罗和他儿子约拿单的骸骨从那里搬了来，又收殓被悬挂七人的骸骨，
|
|
|
and he brought up from thence the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son: and they gathered the bones of them that were hanged.
|
|
21:14
|
将扫罗和他儿子约拿单的骸骨葬在便雅悯的洗拉，在扫罗父亲基士的坟墓里；众人行了王所吩咐的。此后神垂听国民所求的。
|
|
|
And they buried the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son in the country of Benjamin in Zela, in the sepulchre of Kish his father: and they performed all that the king commanded. And after that God was entreated for the land.
|
|
21:15
|
非利士人与以色列人打仗；大卫带领仆人下去，与非利士人接战，大卫就疲乏了。
|
|
|
And the Philistines had war again with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines. And David waxed faint;
|
|
21:16
|
伟人的一个儿子以实比诺要杀大卫；他的铜枪重三百舍客勒，又佩着新刀。
|
|
|
and Ishbibenob, who was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear was three hundred [shekels] of brass in weight, he being girded with a new [sword], thought to have slain David.
|
|
21:17
|
但洗鲁雅的儿子亚比筛帮助大卫，攻打非利士人，将他杀死。当日，跟随大卫的人向大卫起誓说：「以后你不可再与我们一同出战，恐怕熄灭以色列的灯。」
|
|
|
But Abishai the son of Zeruiah succored him, and smote the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David sware unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle, that thou quench not the lamp of Israel.
|
|
21:18
|
后来，以色列人在歌伯与非利士人打仗，户沙人西比该杀了伟人的一个儿子撒弗。
|
|
|
And it came to pass after this, that there was again war with the Philistines at Gob: then Sibbecai the Hushathite slew Saph, who was of the sons of the giant.
|
|
21:19
|
又在歌伯与非利士人打仗，伯利恒人雅雷俄珥金的儿子伊勒哈难杀了迦特人歌利亚。这人的枪杆粗如织布的机轴。
|
|
|
And there was again war with the Philistines at Gob; and Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim the Beth-lehemite slew Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver`s beam.
|
|
21:20
|
又在迦特打仗，那里有一个身量高大的人，手脚都是六指，共有二十四个指头；他也是伟人的儿子。
|
|
|
And there was again war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant.
|
|
21:21
|
这人向以色列人骂阵，大卫的哥哥示米亚的儿子约拿单就杀了他。
|
|
|
And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimei, David`s brother, slew him.
|
|
21:22
|
这四个人是迦特伟人的儿子，都死在大卫和他仆人的手下。
|
|
|
These four were born to the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
